Post Surgical Shoulder Pain and Pain Pumps

Postarthroscopic Glenohumeral Chrondrolysis (PAGCL) is a serious medical condition where the cartilage of the shoulder breaks down causing extreme pain and limited mobility when the bones of the joint rub together.

Medical studies suggest a causal relationship between Marcaine (Bupivicaine), a medication commonly used for pain management through a pain pump, and PAGCL. Pain pumps are frequently used to manage surgical pain during shoulder procedures.

Cases of PAGCL and pain pumps are currently being evaluated for litigation. If you or someone you care about is suffering from pain, mobility problems, including “frozen shoulder” syndrome, after arthroscopic surgery they may be entitled to compensation.
