FDA Warning -Stop Using Hydroxycut!

The U.S. Food and Drug Administation (FDA for the rest of us) has warned consumers to stop ingesting all Hydroxycut products.

Hydroxycut is produced by Lovate Health Sciences, Inc. and distributed by Lovate Health Sciences USA, Inc. Hydroxycut products have been associated with serious liver damage resulting in an agreed recall by Lovate.

23 reports of serious health effects ranging from jaundice to liver damage and need for transplant and 1 death have been provided to the FDA. Other complaints have included seizure, heart problems and muscle damage. Symptoms of liver injury include jaundice (yellowing of the skin and eyes) and brown colored urine, nasuea, vomitting, weakness, abdominal pain and loss of appetite.

Hydroxycut products are dietary supplements marketed as weight loss or fat-burning aids and energy enhancers. Proving, once more, there really is no shortcut to losing weight and staying healthy.
